Mini video on Establishing Work Agreement

OK... tested out doing a mini video using the digital camera. Decided to video tape a segment of our presentation slide on "Establishing Work Agreement". Managed to download the video into my computer. Registered in You Tube so that I could download into it and share with others. But don't know why it's taking such a long time... god knows how long it'll take... still keeping my fingers crossed that it'll download fine. GOOD LORD... guess what happened... the minute I typed keeping my fingers crossed... the internet connection went off for a minute and then couldn't come back.

If not, maybe you could view through this blog first:

Please forgive horrible sleepy face, just woke up and bad pronunciation... :-)

  2. Excellent! Well done, you have shown your willingness to take risk in learning, exploring and finding out about how you could utilise new media and medium. Now that you have successfully shown the technical skill of recoding a video and uploading it into a repository like Utube and embedded them in your blog .... may I offer some suggestions...

Consider using a visual storyboard to plan your video presentation no matter how short it is.
Consider using a video editor like the free one that comes with your windows - Windows Movie Maker - to create titles and credits page.
Use Diagrams and Images to break up the section. It is as easy of saving your powerpoint slide as an image file and inserting them into your video editor timeline.
Use different angle shots or background in your video shots as it will make it more interesting and keep the attention of the viewer.
Think of the 'teaching video' as a powerpoint in moving images.
Speak a lot slower with more pauses.
Use audacity to create background music for opening and closing of video and insert them into your video editor.

These are only personal suggestions and does not detract from the excellent learning you have achieved.
